Cosmic Riddle

Why is it that no one is able to put the new roll of toilet paper on the handy spring loaded roller? That is sitting right next to you. Why?

    It seems the dentist's harem (another dentist, this one a girl, two assistants, three hygienists, the office manager and the receptionist) wait for MY expertise there, too. What's so hard about replacing the roll?
